After our recent partnership with Matterport was approved, it is with great pleasure that Looking Glass announces our 3D scanning and virtual tour service is now available for the general public. Our current service areas are the cities of Winston Salem, Greensboro, and High Point, however if you are outside of our current service area we may be able to make accommodations.
What are 3D Tours?
What are 3D virtual tours and how do they work? Looking Glass uses cutting edge 3D laser scanning cameras strategically placed throughout the interior to be virtually recreated. From there, the cameras are shifted after every scan until the entire area has been canvassed. After uploading and webbing the images together from our individual scans, Looking Glass is able to offer a virtual tour of the scanned property. Although there have been instances of outdoor virtual tours being successfully scanned, Looking Glass is currently only offering interior scanning services. These services are a huge consumer value for real estate listings, event halls, concert venues, fitness centers, and restaurants. Those are just some examples, but the possibilities are endless.
