Looking Glass Services, Inc. is at the 2017 ABC Carolina’s Construction Safety and HR Conference

We had the opportunity to attend the 2017 ABC Carolina’s Construction Safety and HR Conference. After some bad traffic, the team arrived at the Great Wolf Lodge, right outside of Concord, NC. The vendor focus here was on programs, equipment, and applications that can improve on the job safety and the hiring process. We used our booth to showcase some of our new capabilities, such as our CAD to VR model conversion services, and to demonstrate our augmented reality apps for construction. It was also great to see some familiar faces from 2016’s Conference and meet some new friends in the Construction Industry.

The ABC Carolinas Safety Committee’s mission is to promote safety in the construction industry, provide a resource for safety expertise and information, and to assist in the development of safety programs in the interest of conserving employee health and a company’s bottom line. The annual conference features several presentations from keynote speakers from the construction industry presenting on topics such as: “Hispanic Workforce in the Construction Industry: Challenges and Strategies”, “What were you thinking!?!? The Impact of Distracted Driving”, “Workers Comp. 101 – How Safety Affects Your EMR, WC Premium, and Your Bottom Line!”,and ” Workplace Violence: Enforcement Prospective and Prevention Guidelines.” This was followed by a gracious buffet spread for lunch and wrapped up with a short awards show.

Overall an exciting day, thank you again to the ABC Carolinas Construction Safety and HR Commitee and The Great Wolf Lodge for having us. See you next year!
