The Pickle Unload System is an autonomous robotic solution designed to unload floor-loaded trailers and containers with minimal human intervention. Using a modified industrial robot arm, vacuum-based gripper, and 3D vision, it can identify, grasp, and transfer packages weighing up to 65 pounds. The system is mobile, deployable in under 10 minutes, and can process between 600 to 1,500 packages per hour, depending on the load. It requires no structural changes to docks and can be easily integrated into existing operations.
Beyond its technical performance, the Pickle Unload System directly addresses major pain points in logistics. It minimizes workplace injuries, helps close labor gaps in high-turnover roles, and ensures consistent output even in temperature-extreme environments. Already in use by warehouse operators in the apparel and general goods sectors, the robot has successfully handled millions of pounds of freight—demonstrating both productivity gains and safety improvements across the board.
