The LiMX TRON 2 is a next-generation embodied robotics platform designed for AI research, advanced mobility, teleoperation, and real-world robotics development. Built around a unique multi-form architecture, TRON 2 can be configured in three different operating modes – Dual Arms, Wheeled Legs, and Sole – allowing researchers and developers to adapt the robot for a wide range of applications from manipulation tasks to all-terrain mobility.

With advanced motion control algorithms, low-latency teleoperation, and support for modern VLA (Vision-Language-Action) development workflows, TRON 2 is engineered for both robotics research and industrial experimentation. The platform supports real-world data collection, reinforcement learning, autonomous mobility, and complex task execution while maintaining compatibility with leading simulation and robotics ecosystems including ROS, NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Gazebo, and MuJoCo.

Whether deployed for embodied AI research, manipulation learning, industrial automation, or advanced robotics development, TRON 2 provides a highly flexible and future-ready platform built to support the next generation of intelligent robotics systems.

In this demonstration, the LimX Dynamics TRON 2 showcases its impressive bipedal mobility, dynamic balance, and modular design. Two TRON 2 robots perform coordinated tasks using different payload configurations – one equipped with a robotic arm and the other carrying a cargo basket. Watch as the basket-equipped robot confidently walks up and down stairs before another TRON 2 retrieves an item from the basket, demonstrating the future of collaborative robotics.
