IIT’ DYnamics Developer and Unitree

IIT’s Dynamic Legged Systems lab is an Italian-based university lab that focuses on research concerning the design and control aspects of legged robots. They are interested in the design and development of legged robotic systems, chiefly quadrupeds, and are investigating ways that increase the flexibility and performance of legged designs. Apart from developing quadrupedal robots, they emphasize the need for accurate and robust control, ranging from the level of individual joints, often in hardware, up to the overall behavior of the legged robot. A significant part of our group’s effort is devoted to perception tailored to dynamic quadrupedal robots.
